Research by Brandon Hall Group found that organisations with a strong onboarding process improve new hire retention by 82 percent and productivity by over 70 percent. Yet Gallup found that only 12% of employees strongly agree their organisation does a great job of onboarding new employees!

It’s no surprise that only 12% percent of employees think their organisation does a great job onboarding, when Human Capital Institute found more than half of organisations focus their employee onboarding on processes and paperwork.

Career development continues to be the leading reason people leave their jobs, so it makes sense to let new team members know you acknowledge and commit to learning and development by starting during their onboarding process.

We designed our Onboarding 360° assessment specifically to support organisations in this area. Aimed at senior level hires, the assessment is focused on key competencies and behaviours required to successfully transition into a new role.

Feedback received from clients who utilise this service has been that this process has really engaged their new starters, ironed out any behaviours that could potentially have proven problematic (and likely wouldn’t otherwise have been addressed until they actually became problematic), and enabled them to settle in and reach full productivity faster.
